The Kyle of Lochalsh is at 57 degrees Latitude, on a par with Prince Rupert in Canada, and almost with Moscow, Russia. However, such a snowfall as seen here, from Am Ploc, is quite a rare occurence owing to the influence of the Gulf Stream. The Riviera of Scotland.....Ha Ha !!
